Fast migration to Europe, digital nomads gradually become mainstream, low investment costs, fast application, Digital Nomad Visa becomes a new choice for immigration to Europe
After the European Commission has repeatedly reviewed the fast track citizenship programs in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Malta, and Ireland, and from 2021 onwards, it has also made negative comments on the one-step investor residency programs such as the Portuguese Golden Visa and the Greek Golden Visa, etc. The European Commission believes that the Digital Nomad Visa is the current and future trend. First, it is more helpful to stimulate the economy because the Digital Nomad Visa is for people who want to live and spend money in the EU, not for people who just want to get an identity but are not willing to live in Europe; second, the Digital Nomad Visa will not make the local property market explode and cause local people to be unable to buy houses; third, living in Europe can establish a connection with the local community and increase the understanding of EU culture, which is a positive help for people who telecommute and want to migrate to Europe; fourth, the application time is fast. In the past year, many remote workers from the United States, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom have moved to Europe to live through the Digital Nomad Visa.

( What are 'golden visas' and why are they a threat to the EU? ), including the security, transparency and the values that underpin the European Union project, including the Portuguese program that requires applicants to stay in Portugal for only seven days a year, the Greek Golden Visa that does not require applicants to land in Greece, and Ireland's abuse of its low tax policy, could bring more instability to the EU in the midst of epidemics, wars, and energy shortages. The Digital Traveller visa not only brings an immediate positive stimulus to the EU economy, it attracts people who want to actually live in Europe and brings real prosperity and stability to the EU.
