At least one of the following conditions must be met:
- Receive investment from domestic or foreign venture capital firms in the R.O.C. or raise NT$2,000,000 or more on international fundraising platforms recognized by the R.O.C. government.
- Agreed to move into a new government-recognized ROC industrial park or incubator.
- Obtained domestic and foreign patents in the Republic of China.
- Winning awards in representative domestic and international entrepreneurship and design competitions, or applying for the government's program to encourage foreign entrepreneurs to come to Taiwan.
- Establishment of a business that conforms to the "Principles for Recognizing Businesses with Innovative Capabilities" and investment of NT$1 million or more as the person in charge of the business.
11. Naturalization Process for Entrepreneurial Immigrants
- Apply to the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan for a one-year residence permit for the first time.
- After one year, depending on the applicant's entrepreneurial performance, the residence permit can be issued with a two-year residence visa.
- Upon expiration of the two-year residence visa, the applicant's performance will allow him/her to renew his/her residence visa for another two years.
- If you have lived in Taiwan for five consecutive years and have resided in Taiwan for 183 days or more each year, you can apply for residency.
- After settling in, you can apply for a passport and obtain a R.O.C. identity card.
